摘要
描述了基于TMS320DM642DSP平台的H.264高性能视频编码器的设计和实时实现。首先提出了H.264视频编码器硬件结构设计,包括DM642的DSP芯片选择,继而描述了编码算法的移植,以及基于DM642结构和专用操作指令的算法优化,重点讨论了像素插值与运动估计的优化算法。实验结果表明,该优化算法可以在DM642上实现实时的H.264编码器,并且保持了很高的压缩效率和图像质量。
The design and implementation of H. 264 hign performance video encoder based on TMS320DM642 DSP platform was described. The design of the hardware was introduced firstly, including the choice of DM642 DSP. Then, the eneoder program was ported, and some algorithms focused on sample interpolation and motion estimation were optimized based on the custom operations of DM642. Experiment results show that the real-time H. 264 eneoder can be realized on DM642 by using proposed algorithms, while the high compression efficiency and image quality are preserved.
