宁波话有两个“看”,一个表实词义,另一个表虚词义,两者在语音上有区别,前者读[k‘i44],后者读[k‘e44]①。考察宁波话句末语助词“看”的语形、语义特征,并与普通话、古汉语的尝试体“看”作了比较,试图揭示尝试体“看”的历史演进规律,拟探求方言与共同语之间的相互关系。

This article illustrates the token-trying “Kan”（看） in Ningbo Accent. It means to give an objective description of the use of “Kan”（看） in ancient Chinese, Mandarin Chinese and Ningbo Accent. It also tends to prove the distribution of “Kan” in Mandarin Chinese is the result of having been influenced by Wu Dialect.
