史学与政治关系的合理维度

The Reasonable Relationship between Historical Studies and Politics

20世纪,尤其是近50年来在史学与政治关系问题上有种种不同认识,并影响到史学的发展。虽然我国史学发展历程中有过被政治化、简单化、庸俗化的痛苦经历,但问题的实质不在于史学与政治有关系,而是没有正确处理好史学与政治的关系,曲解了史学在社会中的位置。把史学与政治关系简单化以及把史学等同于政治是错误的。同样,割裂史学同政治的关系,强调史学要“超越”现实也是不正确的。在史学工作中应该正确处理好史学与政治关系的三个维度,使史学在与现实政治运动的双向互动中保持合理的运动形态。

In the past century, especially in the last 50 years, there appeared different opinions on the relation between historical studies and politics and it had some influence on the development of historical studies. Though there was the tendency of politics-orientedness, over-simplifiedness and unsophisticatedness, the real reason was not because historical studies are related to politics. It was because of the wrong dealing with such a relation. There have been many improper ways of dealing with the relation. The present paper states that in historical studies, it is vital to deal with the three kinds of dimensions between historical studies and politics and make it reasonable.
