摘要
周谷城《中国通史》力图写出完整统一的中国历史,从体裁的确定到资料的取舍、文字的表述、篇章节的安排,都贯穿着这一撰述宗旨。其结构严谨,观点鲜明,自成体系,在新的历史条件下继承和发扬了我国古代的“通史家风”。
The Chinese General History written by Zhou Gu-cheng tried to outline the integrity of Chinese history. In order to obtain the goal, Zhou Gu-cheng elected types and historical material and expression fashion of The General History seriously. The General History had a precise structure and vivid viewpoint and independent system. It inherited and developed the good tradition of compilation of general history in the new era.
