Henan suffered from flood, drought, earthquake, plague of locusts, wind, thunder, cold wave, frost, hail in the Qing Dynasty, but the most important disasters of them were flood and drought. The disasters did harm to the development of economy and the people＇s livelihood, There are both natural factors and social factors about the natural disasters. The article analyses the data of natural disasters in Qing Dynasty and clarifies their characteristics, which can provide profitable references to avoid disasters and protect our environment today.
