Skopos theory is the foundation of the German Functionalism＇s translation theory, whiech mainly contains the skopos nile, the coherence nile and fidelity nile. This thesis expounds the applications of the three rules in scientific text translation respectively and explains some translating methods in scientific text from the functional aspect of the target text.
