当前转型时期乡村社会政治权力变迁格局中,宗族处于弱化地位。这种情况从历史原因来看,是由于中国社会自从夏、商、周三代以来,就是一个“有国家的社会”,它区别于“无国家的社会”,“国家”在中国的传统乡村社会中始终发挥着重要作用;而在现代国家的建设中,宗族因缺乏整合社会的功能而无法走入国家的体制之内,国家对于社会,有着强烈的干预意识和巨大的驱动力量。

The nation has been brought into play important function in the traditional country society in China. At the same time, in the construction fo modern nation-state, because of lacking the function of the conformity society, the clan can＇t walk into the system of the nations inside. The nation still has strong intervention consciousness to the society with driving strength hugely.
