The successful grafting of 20 ends spinning equipment developed by Dalian Synthetic Fiber Research Institute on 20 ends spinning FDY take up machine produced by Barmag Company in Germany were introduced. The melt direct spinning 20 ends spinning polyester FDY production technology were studied. By using 20 ends spinning to pro- duce polyester FDY, the production efficency was obviously improved,the market competitive ability was increased.
