首先分析了NGN的网络特性和需求,然后在阐述弹性分组环技术(RPR)特性的基础上论证了采用RPR技术承载NGN业务的可能性,最后提出了基于RPR技术的NGN承载网总体解决方案。

First, the property and requirement of Next Generation Network （NGN） are analyzed, Then, on the basis of the detailed description of Resilient Packet Ring （RPR） technology, the probability of using RPR technique as the bearer network of NGN are demonstrated. At last, the general solution of RPR based NGN bearer network is presented.
