摘要 作为视频编码领域的最新标准,H.264比以前的标准有着更好的编码效率。然而却使得编码器的计算复杂度急剧增加,在模式选择和运动估计部分尤为突出。论文提出了一种新方法,主要包括块合并、中止判别准则、改进的DS和快速亚象素搜索算法,在保持高信噪比和低比特率的同时,有效地降低了编码器复杂度。 As the latest standard in video codec field,H.264 can achieve considerably higher coding efficiency than previous standards.Unfortunately this comes at a cost in drastically increased complexity at the encoder mainly due to motion estimation and mode decision.In this paper,we propose a new scheme based on block combination,early termination,fined DS,and fast subpel motion estimation.The proposed algorithm can reduce the complexity considerably while maintaining similar PSNR and bit rate.
