The paper analyzes the current situation and protection architecture of information security in the power systems, points out the security problems of application systems must be considered in both development and executive phase, the security of application systems is the key part of whole security protection architecture. A security model of application system executive platform and a security model of software development are proposed. The matters about security needing attention in the software development are analyzed in detail.
