The paper introduces the industry experiments for reducing metal content in discarded residue of blast furnace in one metallurgy factory of Guangxi, the characteristices of metal in discarded residue were analyzed. According to the effect factor the experiment scheme was established and carried out in manufacture, good effect has been obtained.
