汉语阅读能力和英语词汇与语法水平在英语阅读中的优劣补偿研究 被引量:22

摘要 本文研究汉语阅读理解能力和英语词汇、语法水平对英语阅读理解的贡献和作用,集中探讨汉语阅读能力和英语词汇、语法水平在英语阅读中的优劣互补关系。206名上海及苏州的在校大学生参加了本研究。根据汉语阅读能力和英语词汇、语法水平,把他们各分为高、中、低三组。方差及回归分析结果表明,汉语阅读能力和英语词汇、语法水平之间存在优劣互补关系,汉语阅读能力与英语词汇、语法水平背景不同的人都可能取得高水平的英语阅读能力。因此,在英语阅读教学中,既要努力提高学生英语词汇与语法水平,还要鼓励他们积极发挥自身的母语能力,以取得最佳的英语阅读效果。
