当代语用学的发展趋势

Recent trends in contemporary pragmatics

本研究的主要目的在于追述二十世纪九十年代,尤其是九十年代后期以来国际语用学发展的总体趋势。根据近期国外语用学的研究主题与探索路向,作者发现语用学研究已超出指示语、言语行为、会话含意等传统议题,日渐体现出对语言使用研究的语用综观论;其次,语言使用与理解的语用探索再也不是单向的语用学研究,与相关学科之间的交叉界面研究日益凸显;另外,语用与认知之间的相互结合与渗透,或从认知语用的视角分析言语交际,已隐现当今语用学发展的一大主流。

The present paper provides a survey of contemporary pragmatics with a view to probing the major trends in this field since the late 1990s. From a micro perspective such phenomena as discourse particles/markers which are grammatically peripheral have become new research topics in pragmatics, whereas from a macro perspective pragmatics has gone far beyond its traditions in terms of its research scope and methods, as evidenced in the interdisciplinary features of lexical pragmatics, interlanguage pragmatics, experimental pragmatics, literary pragmatics, etc. Furthermore, the interpretations of pragmatic module and inference, and the cognitive accounts of metaphors have made it clear that pragmatics is becoming cognition-oriented, which has been considered one of the most appealing trends in its recent development.
