As its span condition is unusual, testing its mechanical capability becomes more important.This paper introduces a mechanical capability automatic measurement system for electric optical cable.First, it simply introduces the constitution and function of this system.Second, testing theory and method of fthre strain and cable strain is expatiated detailedly. Finally, the key points of testing procedure is put forward.
