Two Approaches of Shanghai State-owned Assets Reform

Assets Capitalization and Assets Securitization will become main objectives of Shanghai State-owned Assets reform in recent years, till 2010, the securitization proportion of Shanghai Operational State-owned Assets will reach more than 30%, in other words, at least 30% of Operational State-owned Assets will integrate into listed companies. On October 13, during an expert seminar that help by Shanghai State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Committee(SASAC), Ling Baoheng, Director of Shanghai SASAC mentioned again that one of the important objectives is just 'Assets Capitalization and Assets Securitization'. Shanghai becomes the pioneer to clearly bring forward the State-owned Assets reform objective of 'Assets Capitalization and Assets Securitization'. In fact,this is not the first time that Director Ling Baoheng mentioned the concept of 'Assets Capitalization and Assets Securitization'. In fact, the solving of separated stock shares issues of our stock market that started in may this year has been the activator of 'Assets Capitalization and Assets Securitization'.
