摘要
招商说明书是重在传递信息的“实用文本”。根据文本类型、功能理论和目的论的观点,其翻译应遵循简练达意、实现译本功能和目的两大原则。基于该原则本文考察了当前招商说明书英译所存在的问题并提出了对策。
This paper aims to explore the C - E translation of the Project Description for Foreign Investment in China, which is defined as informative in function. Drawing upon the function and text - type- based translation theory and Skopostheorie, the author proposes economy and achieving the function/purpose of TT as translation principle and suggests some solutions to the existing translation problems.
