李白与谢安

LI Bai And XIE An

李白十分推崇谢安,诗文中出现次数很多,因为谢安适合自己的人生理想和社会理想。李白与谢安的气质相似,人生态度也有相似之处,生活理想也很相似。隐居待时、功成身退,是李白仰慕的政治理想;狂傲自负、志存高远、不慕荣华是李白钦佩谢安的另一方面。然而,谢安既有政治才能,又有得天独厚的社会环境和特殊地位,建立了盖世奇功。李白富有政治热情而无政治才能,也缺乏政治家的素质;政治理想没有实现,但不幸的经历却成就了世界级的诗人。

LI Bai valued highly of XIE An in his verses, because XIE An＇s life reflected LI Bai＇s social ideal and philosophy of life. Both of them are broad-minded and have similar tolerance. Living in solitude and waiting for chances, withdrawing from society after success-this is XIE An＇s political ideal that LI Bai adores; another aspect of XIE An that attracted LI Bai was his self-conceit, his great ambition and his contempt for wealth. XIE An had political ability and made unparalleled contributions by taking advantages of the exceptional social environment and his special social position. Compared with XIE An, LI Bai had political enthusiasm yet lacked outstanding political talent and quality, so he didn＇t realize his political ideal but became a world famous poet.
