Quality-controlled Subject Information Gateway Based on Open Directory

通过对开放目录与质量受控学科信息门户(Quality-controlledSubjectInformationGateway,以下简称QSIG)两种网络信息资源整理模式的比较和分析,提出基于开放目录的QSIG是QSIG可持续发展的必然趋势,并将QSIG的特点与发展趋势相结合,论述基于开放目录的QSIG的5个特点和基于开放目录的QSIG的构建与管理要点及方法,以为图书情报机构构建和管理基于开放目录的QSIG提供借鉴。

By comparing open directory with quality- controlled subject information gateway （QSIG）, this paper analyzes the two kinds of information resource arrangement patterns, and mentions that QSIG, which is based on open directory, is a development trend of QSIG. Combining the characters and the development trend of QSIG, the paper studies five characteristics and four key points and construction measures, of QSIG based on open directory, with a hope to offer direct reference for information institutions construction and QSIG management based on open directory.
