摘要
党员是党的细胞,共产党的先进性由党员的先进性来体现,党员的先进性根植于党员的素质,提高党员素质,始终是党的建设的根本问题。在先进性教育活动中,把提高党员素质放在目标要求的第一位,这就抓住了保持共产党员先进性教育活动的关键,抓住了党的建设的根本。共产党员的素质既特殊又具体,共产党员应具备的基本素质可分为政治素质、理论素质、思想素质、道德素质、法律素质、知识素质、能力素质、心理素质、身体素质等。
Party members are the cells of the Party. The advanced character of the Communist Party is manifested by the advanced character of its members; the advanced character of the Party members is determined by the qualities of the Party members. This has always been the crucial issue in the construction of the Party. It is most crucial to put the qualities of the Party members as the first goal in the Party＇s education activities. The qualities of the Communist Party member are rather abstract, but also concrete. Party members should qualify themselves in politics, theory, ideology, ethics, legal awareness, knowledge, ability, psychology, and physique.
