There is a close relationship between brain structure and cognitive disturbances in schizophrene. The paper discussed the disorder of the brain＇s structure, cognitive dysfunction and the relation between them in the schizophrenia patients,which based on the brain pathology and clinical studies. At last,it analyzed the contribution of the verbal fluency tests to the assessment of schizophrenia. The paper could help to understand the schizophrenia pathogeny more deeply, which can beneficial to the clinical prevention and therapy.
