摘要
隐喻是新闻文体的一个重要特征。通过分析汉语和英语的体育新闻语篇,发现新闻语言中使用了大量的隐喻,首 先,从宏观上看,概念隐喻普遍存在于竞技性的运动项目的赛事报道之中;其次,从微观上看,体育竞赛中的技术动作描写 也采用了隐喻,体现了新闻语言的艺术特色和审美价值。最后,分析了体育新闻语篇中隐喻的三大功能:语篇功能、审美功 能和社会功能。
Metaphor is an important factor in the style of news texts. By analyzing both Chinese and English news texts, it is found that in news texts there exists a large number of conceptual metaphors. First, from a general peRspective, metaphors such as＂ SPORT IS WAR＂ exists widely in news reports about competitive sports. Then, from the specific point of view, the descriptions of a single skillful act in sports also adopt metaphors, which expresses the artistic characteristics and aesthetic functions of the language in news texts.At last, the functions of the metaphors are analyzed into three kinds： textual functions, aesthetic functions：and social functions.
