The credit system is an important tendency in the present reform of the non-governmental institutions of higher learning. The paper analyses the difficulties and challenges that non-governmental institutions of higher learning is confronted with in implementing the reform of the credit system, and expatiates on the way of implementing the reform of the credit system in non-govern- mental institutions of higher learning in the respects of idea transformation, objectives niche, curriculum structural system and teaching operational mechanism.
