Chang＇ an dance with accompaniment was usually performed in palaces, courtyards and public squares in Han Dynasty. With the development of dance with accompaniment as well as opening of society, permanent theatres came into existence in Tang Dynasty and perfomances became more frequent. An analysis of choices of stages for performance of Chang＇ an dance with accompaniment is of great enlightenment to cultural and tourist development and prosperity of Xi＇an city.
