摘要
为了在真实的体积空间内重建三维图像,利用高速旋转的发光二极管(LED)面阵列作为显示媒介,以PIC单片机为核心组成控制电路建立了体三维显示系统.采用数字图像处理方法从3DS MAX软件的三维模型中获取离散的特征点信息,以光电触发器提供的外部中断信号为同步信号,单片机向数据存储器和LED专用驱动芯片提供控制信号和工作时序,驱动LED发光,逐行显示获得的二维图像序列.由于人眼的视觉暂留特性,快速显示的二维图像序列被感知为一幅连续的三维图像.再现的三维图像无需辅助设备就可在0°~360°内任意观察,并真实地体现了源图像的三维特性.
A volumetric 3D display system using high speed rotating light-emitting-diode (LED) matrix panel and control circuit comprised of PIC microcontroller and other components was introduced to display 3D images in real space. Information of discrete feature points is obtained through digital processing 3D object prototype derived from 3DS MAX software. With sync signal from a light coupler, the microcontroller controls the flash data storage devices and the special driving chips for LED to display a sequence of 2D images line-by-line. These discrete images can be perceived and interpreted as an integrated 3D image due to persistence of vision. The reconstructed 3D image can reflect the 3D characters of the original object faithfully, and can be observed through 360 degrees horizontally without the need of any special visual aids.
