摘要
This work measured the kinetic data for the etherificatio n of pyrocatechol with methallyl chloride and proposed a kinetic model for the r eaction process according to the factor analysis of the reaction process and the data. The model included a desirable main reaction with two concomitant side r eactions. The activation energy values of the main and side reactions were obta ined, and the optimal reaction conditions such as reaction temperature, time, fe eding time of methallyl chloride were discussed based on the reaction model. Wh ile a concomitant reaction was intensified at a lower temperature, another conco mitant reaction was intensified at a higher temperature.
