中国共产党领导人民进行抗日战争,最大限度地争取国内和国际一切积极进步力量的支持,建立最广泛的抗日民族统一战线,和建立国际反法西斯统一战线。其实施的策略方针是“发展进步势力,争取中间势力,孤立顽固势力”;坚持的原则是“独立自主”;采取的斗争原则是“既联合又斗争”。

CPC tried to gain the greatest support from every domestic and international positive force and established the most extensive national united front as well as international anti-fascist united front in the War of Resistance Against Japan by taking the strategy of “ developing positive forces, winning over intermediate forces and isolating die-hard forces” and adhering to the principle of “maintaining independence and keeping the initiative” and “unifying as well as struggling”.
