The ffect of berbamine on cytotoxic T lymphocytes(CTL) activity of murine spleen wasquantitively detected by using a modified hemolyticplaque foiming test. The results showed thatberbamine at the coneentrations of 2.0mg·L-1 andhigher could inhibit the activity of CTL in vitro in adose dependent manner. Berbamine 25,50 mg·kg-1could significantly inhibit the CTL activity in vivo.
