论当今中国社会阶层分化对政治现代化的重要作用

On the Important Effect of Social Division on Political Modernization in Current China

由于中国改革采取市场经济取向,使得当今中国社会阶层结构发生了深刻的变化,而这种分化对加快实现中国政治现代化起着十分重要的作用。首先,当今中国社会阶层构成多元化为扩大公民政治参与准备了重要条件;其次,社会阶层结构的演变为中国政治稳定不断提供“生长点;”再次,社会阶层不断分化大大推进了民主化和法制化进程。当然,面对社会阶层新变化还应采取适当措施,真正加速中国政治现代化。

Because of the orientation of market economy, great changes have taken place to the structure of social stratification in China. These changes have been and will be propelling political modernization in China. At first, the diversity pattern of social stratification offers opportunity to citizen＇s political participation. Secondly, the change provides growth for China＇s political stability. Thirdly, the disintegration of social stratification promotes the process of our country＇ s democratization and legalization. So, adapting to social division, we should take some measures to promote China＇s political modernization.
