On the Zeitgeist of the Confucian School of Idealist Philosophy during the Song Dynasty

宋学作为两宋社会经济关系、政治关系的思想反映,是对这个历史时期现实问题的积极回答,其出现适应了当时社会现实的需要。宋学中所体现出来的变易精神、求理精神、道德精神和求实精神,成功地回应了当时社会各个方面的挑战,化解了各层面的冲突,体现出鲜明的时代特质。

As a reflection of the economy and politics during the Northern and Southern Dynasties, the Confucian School is the positive response to the issues of reality during this period in history in confomfity with the needs of the then social reality. The spirit of changing, of seeking the truth, of being moral and practical have successfully dealt with the challenges from the various strata of society, dissolved all of its conflicts, and demonstrated distinctively the zeitgeist.
