主题网关是当前网络学术信息组织与开发利用的有效手段。本文分析了主题网关的特点和发展现 状,着重对主题网关建设中的质量控制问题,如资源选择,组织与描述问题,资源维护与更新问题,元数据问题进 行了探讨。
Subject gateway is a functional method to organize and develop academic information on the Internet. This article analyzes the characteristic and current development of subject gateways and discusses the quality control problem,such as the selection, description, organization and renovation of the resource and the metadata schema.
