Listening to English radio programs is an effective way to learn English, especially the most effective way to improve listening ability. The article explores the advantages of China Radio International programs in English teaching and learning in China compared with VOA and BBC, introduces the methods of applying CRI NEWS ＆ REPORTS to teaching English speaking and listening, and points out that listening to CRI is one of the best ways to improve learners ＇ ‘ two-- side ＇ cross-- cultural communication ability.
