Establishment of carotid artery stenosis model in rabbit

目的寻求一个家兔颈动脉粥样硬化模型的简单、重复性好的方法。方法利用双氧水化学烧灼12只、大白兔颈动脉内膜,并分别在术后3 d、1周、4周行DSA检查,观察颈动脉狭窄模型的动态变化。结果成功获得颈动脉狭窄模型。结论本方法可以建立一种成熟的颈动脉粥样硬化模型,而且此方法简单、重复性好,有利于进行颈动脉粥样硬化的实验研究。

Objective It is to find a simple method with good reproducibility to establish carotid artery scleratheroma model in rabbit. Methods Carotid artery intimas of 12 rabbits were cauterized with H202. DSA examination was performed after the operation for three days, one week and four weeks to observe the dynamic changes of the carotid artery stenosis models. Results The carotid artery stenosis models were successfully achieved. Conclusion This method can establish a sort of ripe carotid artery stencxsis model. It is simple and has good reproducibility, which is helpful for experiment study of carotid artery stenosis.
