The relationship between TORCH infection and spontaneous abortion

目的 探讨TORCH系列病原体感染与自然流产的关系。方法 对120例有自然流产史的和102例无自然流产 史的妇女,应用ELISA法检测血清中特异性TORCH系列IgG和IgM。结果 观察组120例中TORCH阳性99例,检出率82．50％, 对照组16例阳性,检出率15．69％,两组间差异有显著性。观察组IgG阳性率分别:TOX12．50％,RUV20．00％,CMV39．17％, HSV-Ⅱ15．00％,IgM阳性率分别是:TOX 15．83％,RUV22．50％,CMV 41．67％,HSV-Ⅱ 17．50％。观察组感染两种或两种以 上TORCH病原体的49例,占感染总数的40．83％。结论 TORCH惑染与自然流产密切相关,对胎儿的危害程度与母亲的感染 状况有关,因此有必要对孕妇进行TORCH系列病原体的检测。

Objective： To study the relationship between spontaneous abortion and TORCH infection （Toxoplasma, Other, Rubella virus, Cytomegalo virus, Herpes simplex virus - Ⅱ ）. Methods： 120 serum samples from the patients with histories of spontaneous abortion and 102 from women without histories of spontaneous abortion were collected. Special IgG and IgM were measured by using the Enzyme - linked immunosorbent assay（ELISA） .Results：TORCH infections were detected in 99 samples with spontaneous abortion compared with 16 in control, showing a statistical difference between the two groups（ P 〈 0.01）, The positive rates of IgG detected were： TOX 12.50%, RUV 20.00%, CMV 39.17%, HSV - Ⅱ 15.00 % ： The positive rates of IgM detected were： TOX 15,83 %, RUV 22.50 %, CMV 41.67 %, HSV - Ⅱ 17.50 %, Adclitionally, infections by 2 or more than 2 TORCH pathogens were found in 49（40,83 % ） patients. Conclusion： TORCH infection may be closely relevant to spontaneous abortion. The negative effect of TORCH infection on fetuses was associated with the infected status of the mother and her gestational age. Therefore, it is necessary to perform examinations of TORCH infection series among pregnant women.
