《飘》已发表近70年,但仍为一部畅销书。《飘》中郝斯嘉和卫希礼命运的变化进而说明:人在社会变迁中,要勇敢地面对现实,采取积极的生活态度,通过改变自己,适应社会,从而掌握自己的命运,重新成为生活的主人。

The changing fate of Scarlett O＇ hara and Ashley Wilkes in“Gone with the Wind” can further suggest that we human beings should be brave to face reality and take active attitude towards life in social transformation. By reforming and adjusting ourselves to society, we human beings can control our own fate and once again become the master of life.
