北村:价值向度重构的尴尬

中国在历史上是个缺少宗教情感的国家,文化结构中缺乏彼岸世界的纬度,现代启蒙并未弥补这一缺失,在当代这个问题也被搁置。而北村皈依基督后的作品具有浓重的宗教特色,作品传递的此岸—彼岸二元对立理念恰好为中国文学提供结构性文化资源。同时,与中国既有文学相比,北村的小说存在异质性因素,它对人性和现世的关注亦有欠缺。北村作品尴尬的处境即由这两方面的局限所致。

However BEI Cun＇s novels, wrote after his turning towards Christian, provide the latitude of Faramita for Chinese culture resource, Compared to other Chinese literatures, BEI Cun＇s novels have heterogeneous ingredients. They also give less attention to the humanity and real life. BEI Cun＇s novels are in the embarrassing situation in modern China just because of above two mentioned reasons.
