目前我国港口的总体规模和货物吞吐量均居世界前列。珠江三角洲港口群建设已被确立为家港口发展的重点。大力推进华南地区形成以香港为国际航运中心的珠江三角洲港口群,逐步形成布局合理层次分明、功能完善的沿海港口体系,势在必行。珠三角港应建立海陆空综合运输体系,与国际惯例接轨进一步扩大市场,担负起港珠江三角经济圈一体化发展的历史重任。
