Chasing Huapao of Local Life in Modern Time

桂北侗乡的抢花炮是全国少数民族运动会比赛项目抢花炮的原生态。这项古老的仪式性少数民族体育活动在现代社会发生着一系列的变化,其理性化、世俗化、组织化、规范化以及媒体的利用、妇女的参与反映的是现代性所促使的改变;民族特色的强调、功能的扩展则是民间文化在现代化与全球化中的生存策略,这些变化都是文化主体自觉的文化改造过程,反映了民族文化的生存能力和适应性以及仪式性少数民族体育文化的现代价值。

Chasing Huapao in northern region of Guangxi province was the original form of formal competitive sport event in National Minority Sports Games. This traditional minority sports activity occurred a series of change with the wind of modernization and globalization. It＇s rationalization, secularity, organization and regularity together with medias and woman participation reflected the changes being pushed forward by modernization. The emphasis on national character and function expansion was the surviving strategy of folk culture under the wave of modernization and globalization. These changes were the automatic self-change process of cultural body,and reflected the surviving ability and adaptation of folk culture as well as modern value of national minority sports culture.
