新形势下远程教育办学定位与发展模式再思考

A Probe into the Position and Model of Distance Education under the New Situation

远程教育的产生顺应时代潮流,短短几年已取得长足进步,发展前景十分看好。但由于有些学校办学指导思想不端正,过分看重经济效益,忽视教育质量,致使其误入歧途,给整个远程教育造成不良的社会影响。笔者认为:远程教育要想长期健康发展,必须端正指导思想,正确选择办学定位、改革办学模式。

Distance Education, emerging from the trends of the times, has made a great progress within a short time and gained a bright future. However, on account of the wrong guiding principle of some institutions, such as over sticking to the economic efficiency while ignoring the education quality, the whole distance education was brought with unfavorable impact in the society. This writer figures out that in order to make the distance educationa have healthy and long- term development, the guiding principle, the position and model of running school must be modified.
