Nepheline glass-ceramic is a new type of inorganic nonmetallic material with high strength and high coefficient of thermal expansion.On the basis of the system of Na2O-Al2O3-SiO2,the nepheline glass-ceramic is prepared by two step heat treatment.Its coefficient of thermal expansion is higher than that of the parent glass.the research results indicate that the expansive curve is almost straight line.The coefficient of thermal expansion depends on the time of heat treatment.The higher the content of nepheline crystals in the sample,the higher the coefficient of thermal expansion.
