The microstructure and the main elements of the alumium-coated steel sheet enamel interface were examined by the electron micoscope and the electroprobe microanalyser.The results show that the good adherence of the alumium coated steel sheet can be achieved by the alumium coated on the steel sheet;the interdiffusion between the enamel and the metals is then accelerated;the transitional layer at the interface is developed,the thickness of the transitional layer is about 25~30μm,the adherence between the transitional layer and the metal is achieved by metallic bond;the adherence between the trasitional layer and the enamel is developed by ionic bond and covalent bond.
