摘要
罗马帝国时期,瘟疫频仍,这既是人为破坏自然环境所造成的,也与当时医学的落后、城市的发展和战争的频繁有密切的关系。它周期性的爆发不仅导致了罗马帝国人口的大量减少、经济的衰退、政治的混乱、军事实力的下降及帝国战略的转变,而且推动了基督教的兴起和壮大。这些都加速了罗马帝国衰亡的步伐,在一定程度上改变了欧洲乃至人类的历史。
The plague broke off frequently in Roman Empire, because of the destruction of natural environment, lack of medical knowledge,development of city and war,etc. It led to not only decrease of population,depression of economy,decay of military strength and transition of strategy,but also promoted the rising of Christianity,and changed the history of medical of Roman Empire.
