摘要
商标是一种商品表面或包装上的标记、记号,使这种商品和同类的其他商品有所区别。商标翻译是把商标由一种语言翻译成另一种语言,并尽量保留原商标的风格和含义,它属于商务翻译的一种,有其自己的翻译原则、标准和方法。
A brand name is a sign or symbol that is used on a product or its packing by a manufacture or dealer to distinguish the product from those of competitors. Brand name translation is to translate a kind of language into another language while original style and connotation should be kept. It is a kind of commercial translation and has its own principle of translation, standards of translation and methods of translation.
