摘要
目的:利用慢性间断快速刺激左心房的方法,建立山羊持续性心房颤动(房颤)模型.方法:在10只山羊的左心房游离壁缝合电极条,在左上肺静脉根部缝合1对电极.将左房的1对电极在体外连接自制刺激器,定期停止刺激,分析电生理指标,直至房颤自发维持超过24 h.超声心动图测量基础状态和房颤持续后心房面积等指标.结果:10只山羊中8只完成研究,在9±5(6~16)d内诱发出持续超过24 h的房颤.随刺激时间延长,房颤波周长逐渐缩短,肺静脉的房颤波周长短于左心房;房颤持续后心房面积明显扩大.结论:利用自行研制的房颤刺激器间断刺激山羊左心房外膜,可在1~3周内诱发出自发维持超过24 h的持续性房颤.
AIM: To investigate the feasibility of goat model of persistent atrial fibrillation (AF) with chronic intermittent high frequency left atrial stimulation to evaluate the dynamic changes of electrophysiological parameters in conscious goats. METHODS: Ten female goats were instrumented with epicardial electrodes patches on the left atrium (LA) and left superior pulmonary vein (LSPV). AF was induced and maintained by home-made stimulator. The duration of induced AF, AF cycle length (AFCL) in LA and LSPV were recorded repetitively. Atrial size, left ventricular diameter, left ventricular ejection fraction (EF) were measured before AF inducement and during, persistent AF. RESULTS: Eight of the ten goats finished the study. Persistent AF ( 〉24 h) was induced in all 8 goats within 6 - 16 days; With the prolongation of stimulation time, AFCL decreased significantly and AFCL of LSPV was shorter than that of LA; Atrial size increased after AF became persistent. CONCLUSION: The model is highly reproducible and persistent AF can be readily induced within 1 -3 weeks. Following the process of AF getting stable, AFCL decreased rapidly. The changes of AFCL in LSPV and LA indicate the important role of pulmonary vein in the maintenance of AF.
