Building a database and accessing an interface in LabVIEW by using LabSQL

This paper presents 3 aproaches to accessing the Microsoft access database interface in LabVIEW, and analyses their strong and weak points. Then the paper defines the accessing tool packet LabSQL through the database developed by the LabVIEW user. Finally, by describing the methods of connecting, closing and operating the database module, the paper specifies the general methods and procedures of compiling the database access interface with the application of LabSQL. It is effective to apply the approaches to a real-time monitor system to manage the fault diaoiosis database.
