Sonochemical degradation of methylene blue in aqueous solution

摘要 采用频率为24 kHz、探头直径为14 mm的超声波反应器,对碱性染料亚甲基蓝进行降解,探讨反应温度、pH值和Fe2+对染料脱色的影响。研究表明,Fe2+的加入显著提高了超声反应的脱色率;在pH值2.8、温度20℃、Fe2+浓度1 mg/L条件下,超声反应60 m in,染料脱色率达94.51%;超声反应180 m in,COD去除率为60%。该染料的超声降解符合一级反应。 The sonochemical degradation of methylene blue was studied using a 24 kHz ultrasound device with a 1.4 cm diameter probe. The influence of reaction temperature, pH value and Fe^2+ on decoloration of dyes was investigated. The rate of decolorization of the dye was found to be greatly improved in the presence of Fe (Ⅱ). At pH value 2.8, T =20℃ and Fe(Ⅱ) of 1 mg/L, the decolorization percentage of the dye solution reached 94.51% after 60 minutes ultrasound treatment, and COD reduction reached 50% after 180 minutes sonication. The sonolysis of the dye followed first-order kinetics.
