On Localization and Alienation in Translation Practice Through "Mistranslation" of Milky Way

从M ilkyW ay等几则传统的误译谈起,探讨翻译界长期存在的“归化和异化”之争,认为翻译不可片面追求“归化”,而应该通过直译加注释等方法,既求易解,同时也应尽量保存原作丰姿。

Based on the analysis of several traditionally “wrong” translations with Milky Way for Chinese Yinhe as an example, Localization and alienation are facused on, holding that it is acceptable to adopt literal translation with the alienation method instead of the localized way. It does readers good if the translation is easier to comprehend and maintain the flavor of the original.
