摘要
讨论的电离层斜向返回探测雷达的波形产生器是以软件无线电理论为基本思想设计了一台通用短波及超短波雷达波形产生平台。波形产生器主要由DSP和数字上变频器构成,DSP作为主控制器设定数字上变频器的调制方式和输出波形。因此雷达能够发射调幅、调频、调相和各种复合调制信号,实现多种电离层探测方式,从而可以实时获得丰富的电离层探测数据。
The waveform generator of the ionospheric oblique backscattering sounding system (IOBSS) is an allpurpose HF and VHF radar waveform generating platform based on software radio theory. The waveform generator is composed by DSP and quadrature digital upconverter (QDU). DSP is used as main controller to decide the modulation mode and output waveform of QDU. Therefore IOBSS can transmit amplitude, frequency, phase and complex modulated signal and sound the ionosphere by many different ways. Abundant ionospheric sounding data, some of which can not be gained by traditional ionosonde, are detected by IOBSS in real-time.
