When mentioning foreign supermarkets,most Chinese consum- ers would think of Wal-Mart and Carrefour first.Whereas this hasn't pre- vent the British mega player Tesco's steps in China.Tesco which has hardly left any trace in China before last July now owns 33 hyper markets,while Carrefour owns only 70 stores after ten years of hard work.
