民国年间的湖南私立公共图书馆概况

A General Survey of Private Public Libraries of Republic of China (1912-1949) in Hunan

私立图书馆是民国间湖南图书馆事业的重要组成部分,本文简要介绍当时受省款补助的三大私立公共图书馆发展沿革、藏书建设、读者工作等方面概况。

The private libraries were the importance part of the library cause of Hunan in Republic of China （ 1912 - 1949）. This paper introduces a general survey of historical changes and developments, collection construction and reader work etc. of the big private public libraries subsidized by the provincial government at that time.
